Lake house

A counselor that I work with at school bought a lake house last year. Apparently it is a very nice house with nice furnishings that they purchased from the former owners. She is remodeling the outside of the house. She had all the stucco taken off and replaced it with stacked stone. She is getting a shaker shingle roof and totally changing all the landscape around the yard. There is a nice dock where they have their boat and jet skis. The lake house is a second home for her and her husband. They spend their time mostly in the city close to where we work, but go up every weekend to see the progress on their new lake house. They were concerned about having no one in the house during the week so they had a security system installed through ADT security systems. At least that way they can stop worrying so much about the house when they are away. I know my friend will be eligible for retirement in another year. She eventually plans to live at the lake house full time once she is retired. To say I am jealous would be putting it mildly.
